Where's Ben?
Ben is almost 5 months old and has been able to roll from his back to his tummy for over a month. But just in the past week or so he has started rolling from tummy to back as well. So he is no longer stuck when he's on his tummy. He can roll and roll and roll. Today he was on his tummy in the middle of his bedroom and I went out to the kitchen for a while. When I went back into his room he was no where to be found. But oh, wait, there he is, under his crib. He had rolled all the way under the crib and was on his back, talking away. I told Luke to come into Ben's room to find his brother. Luke looked and looked and looked - in the crib, behind the chair, on the changing table - but kept saying "Where's Ben, Momma?" (never mind Ben was talking and cooing really loudly). Finally I gave Luke a little nudge and pointed under the crib. And Luke found Ben.
This is a great story. We have a friend who had a little boy recently that they named Ben as well. They were over a few weeks ago for Labor Day and I had the baby swing out for Ben to use if they needed it. Reed was fascinated with the swing and the baby being in it. Now, almost every single day when he sees that swing, he will say "Ben go?"
