We moved into our new home just a little over a year ago. I don't miss the Cities, just some of the friends I still have there. I LOVE being home with the boys - as I state in just about every blog post that I type. There isn't a day that goes by where I do not thank God for this special time I can be with Luke and Ben, seeing and experiencing every special, crazy moment of every day with them. This summer we made a few home improvements, experimented with a garden, but mostly, just spent time together, and spent time with the Dold and Hannig families.
This update is mostly just to post a few pictures of my favorite boys. Sorry, the pictures don't format all that well and they are all over the place rather than in a nice orderly sequence.

At the Spicer park. I love this picture. |

Look at that face. Those cheeks and lips and chin! So smoochable! |
|
Uncle Joe putting Luke's shorts on Benny for fun. |

Grandma Annie Hannig at Paul's softball game. She looks 30 years old! Beautiful! |

Future mowers! |

Brotherly love. |

My boys sporting the hat on backwards. |
|
The boys have been hugging a lot lately! Luke gets a tad bit aggressive with the back patting. You can see it on his face. |

An August picnic lunch. |

My little helper unloading the silverware. |
|
Lukey and his daddy. So handsome, aren't they? |

Shar and I spent time with the oldest of friends, our next door neighbor growing up, Jill Wolf Fischer, in Richmond. Our kids playing together here. |
|
Wow, love this picture. Luke is taking his big brother role very seriously. Ben feels safe. |

The next generation of Hall Avenue Kids (the name of our club growing up): Jalia Fischer, Grace Sauer, Alexa Fischer, Ben, and Luke Hannig. |
|
Luke's solution for Ben wanting to be in the car, too. He piled him in. Thanks for sharing, Luke. |

Luke and his friend, Liam, found this deer in our woods. Or rather, they "shot" this deer in our woods. |
|
The happy hunters. |

The bottom of our POOL (for those of you who haven't seen it). Luke and Liam find frogs, toads, and salamanders in the pool. Understandable that it will cost an arm and a leg to fix this pool! |
